GENESOL 32 - BIOCIDAL CLEANER/PRESERVATIVE

 

 

 

 

Genesol 32 is a broadspectrum biocide for use in cleaning Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration systems. It can be used both on and off-line to eliminate microbiological fouling but when used in potable water applications, Genesol 32 should be used ‘off-line’.

 

Genesol 32 can be used in pre-treatment systems for the prevention of biofouling in pumps, tanks and pipe-work. It is deactivated to harmless by-products by using sodium bisulphite
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

 

Genesol 32 is an aqueous solution containing mixed isothiazolinones.

It is corrosive to carbon steel and certain other alloys so all pumps, pipe-work and tanks should be made from acid resistant material.

When using chemicals, comply with regulations on chemical safety and labor protection.

Specific gravity: 1.04 - 1.10

Freezing point: < - 1°C

Available in 25 kg kegs.

The ‘shelf life’ is 2 years under normal storage conditions.
