GENESYS2160 - BIODISPERSANT AND COPPER CORROSION INHIBITOR

 

 

 

Genesys 2160 is a blend of yellow metal corrosion inhibitors for use as a supplementary product where copper or copper based metallurgy is to be protected or where the treatment programme does not contain a yellow metal inhibitor. Genesys 2160 contains no toxic chemicals and can be discharged directly into effluent without any pollution problems.

 

 

 

Genesys 2160 also contains a powerful surface- active compound to provide bio-dispersancy to retard formation of bio films. Genesys 2160 also improves penetration power of chlorine, bromine, chlorine dioxide (oxidising biocides) as well as non oxidising biocides to enhance their effectiveness.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

 

Proper use level depends on various factors and conditions encountered in specific systems. For best results, continuous feeding of Genesys 2160 is recommended. Normally it is used in conjunction with other corrosion inhibitors for most aqueous systems. Initial passivation requires a higher dose. Once the system is passivated normal concentration level can be maintained.

 

The product should be slug dosed or fed neat from the container using noncorrosive MOC like PP, PE, PVC or Teflon.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

 

• Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally.

• In case of contact with eyes, flush with ample water and get prompt medical attention.

• Gloves and goggles should be used where appropriate.

• Genesys 2160 containers should be stored airtight under shade and away from direct sunlight.
