GENESYS 9065 - SLUDGE CONDITIONER

 

 

 

 

GENESYS 9065 is a specially designed dispersant for the prevention of scaling in boilers and in boiler feed lines. It causes calcium and magnesium hardness salts to form a light, mobile floc, easily removed by blow down.

 

 

GENESYS 9065 is normally used with an oxygen scavenger, stable Tannins and a phosphate program.

TREATMENT AND DOSAGE

 

GENESYS 9065 is normally maintained at concentrations between 100 and 500 mg/l, in the boiler water. The correct treatment level for scale prevention depends on operating conditions such as the boiler pressure and the alkalinity of the boiler water. The optimum treatment level for any plant will be specified by us.

 

The viscosity of GENESYS 9065 allows it to be handled by conventional dosing pumps without dilution, but it may be diluted if desired. GENESYS 9065 is not corrosive to steel mixing tanks or dosage pumps, in concentrated or dilute form.

 

HANDLING AND STORAGE

 

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid extremes of temperature. Replace caps securely after use. In case of contact with skin wash well with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes wash immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. If any irritation persists, seek medical attention. In case of ingestion wash out mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. If any discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Recommended maximum storage limit is 2 years. 

 

POTENTIAL HAZARDS

 

This product is not considered to be harmful, but as with all industrial chemicals care should be taken in its use. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.

 

PACKING

GENESYS 9065 is available in 30 / 50 kg HDPE carboys and 210 kg HDPE barrels.
